Marek Rygielski is an artist working with analogue and digital film. Most recently, his practice has focused on the creation of abstract photographs using in-camera effects and some have been featured on record sleeves of Brisbane bands including: Primitive Motion, Amaringo, McKisko and Clever. A solo exhibition of Marek’s work was held at Backbone Arts in 2018 but most will know him from his prolific output on social media channels. Marek has also worked on a few music videos, regularly documents Brisbane gigs and performs in experimental music outfits, including Blend42, his solo project.
